Welcome to New Heights Electrical Technologies. By accessing our website, booking a service, or engaging with our funnels, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.


1. Services Provided

We provide professional electrical services including smoke alarm supply and installation, electrical installations, maintenance, and related compliance services.

All smoke alarm installations are completed in line with Queensland Smoke Alarm Legislation (AS3786:2014).

Our service descriptions (including packages and pricing) are accurate at the time of publication but may be updated without notice.


2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are free of charge and valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

Final pricing may vary based on property requirements, additional alarms, controllers, or extras requested.

Any advertised discounts (e.g. “Save over $200”, “$50 same-day payment discount”) apply only under the specific conditions stated.


3. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept standard payment methods (cash, EFT, card).

Late or overdue payments may incur additional fees.


4. Compliance and Certification

Upon completion, we provide a Smoke Alarm Compliance Certificate where required.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure ongoing compliance with Queensland legislation beyond the installation date (e.g. testing alarms regularly, not disabling alarms).


5. Warranty

Red Smoke Alarms come with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty covers manufacturing faults only and does not apply to misuse, tampering, or failure to maintain the alarms as recommended.


6. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure compliance and safety, New Heights Electrical Technologies is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from:

misuse of the products

failure to maintain or test alarms

non-compliance caused after installation (e.g. unauthorised modifications)


7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

Same-day cancellations may incur a fee.


8. Privacy

Any personal information collected (e.g. name, phone, address, email) is used solely for providing quotes, services, and compliance certificates.

We respect your privacy and handle data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Queensland.
